OUR YOUTH LEADERS: At MCCOG our Children and Youth are
at the top of our priority list. Our Leaders are all dedicated
volunteers who have big hearts for God and young people.
Jim and Amy head up our Jr./Sr. High Youth Dept.
Currently Jr./Sr. High programs include meetings on Wednesdays: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
OUR CHILDREN'S LEADERS: During our Sunday School hour we offer three classes for our children under the age of 11. These children are taught by a host of wonderful volunteers! During the Sunday school hour Jeff, Jenny, Bev, Sarah are assisted by Erica, Judy, Doris, and Evette. We also offer
nursery for infants and toddlers every Sunday morning during both Sunday
School and morning service. This list of volunteers is ever growing and changing. We also offer Jr. Church every Sunday Morning during
the service for children K-6th grade. They are taught by Kathy and a rotating schedule of 6 other volunteers. Children who
attend Jr. Church begin the hour in the sanctuary with the
adults at 10:30 am. They are dismissed to Jr. Church while the offering
is being received.
OUR ELDERS:
Elders at MCCOG are
spiritual leaders. They work with the Pastor in overseeing and promoting
spiritual, health and growth in the congregation.
OUR DEACONS:
At MCCOG deacons are "lead servants." Our deacons primary
responsibilities include managing the finances of the church as well as
overseeing the physical care of our property.
OUR BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:
This board of dedicated leaders works hard to make
our churches educational programs the best they can be. Some of this
board's responsibilities include: Recruiting, encouraging and training
teachers and organizing and promoting a variety of special events
designed to foster spiritual growth among our people.
